Looking for Laptop Screen which can be connected to PC

Laptop Screen to PC

I have seen many cheap laptop screens for sale, most on ebay of course
I was wondering if it would be possible to, with some circuitry of course, to hook up one to my pc.
I was hoping to do this so I could use one for my carputer project and possible to add one to my xbox once thats working with VGA output.

Anyone have any ideas or know anything I can buy to make this possible?

does the laptop have vga connection?, ihave seen that many laptop with vga connection for connecting with viwer(projector), or may be you should find paralell to vga connector (try ebay they sell strange devices)

lvds to RGB? this is a specifel idea,maybe you can searh it from Google,and you can get something

There are several companies doing controller cards for LCDs. I dont think it would be an option since they are probably more expensive then a new LCD display with vga conector, but anywhay....
