i'm looking for any informations about voice codec.
can somebody give me something avail like articles, circuit diagrams, books or links related to this topic..
i need to build a voice codec (with its circuits - coder n decoder)

binary code for human voice

hello..
i need to build a codec (coder-decoder)
convert analog signal (human voice) to digital (binary) n then change back the digital signal to analog signal.
yes it is vocoder, but i dont know what u mean by melp n celp..
somebody..plzz help me
 

voice codec circuit

melp and celp and selp and ... are type of vocoders.
you can find C code of melp 2400 in web.
you can find block of celp in matlab demo.

Do you want to build this vocoder using hardware such as FPGA and stuff like that, or in Software such as C/C++ or Matlab???

Hi
if you wantto conver analog signal to digital just use adc and you don't need any thinh else.
vocoder compress digital voice.
