DC MOTOR

hello.
i have to design a dc motor. can someone direct me to some information ( ebooks, normal books website or any other info) on that.
P=22kW
V=220V
n=1500 rpm
Excitation winding = compound ( serial + parallel )

Try Electrical Machine Design by A.K.Sawhney.. excellent book.. has design problems on all machines.. there is another book by one M.G.Say.. cant remember the name now tho... will search and let you know
