Looking for d80c51bh datasheet

Datasheet for d80c51bh

Hi all!

This will be my first topic here at EDA Board.
And i must say it feels nice!

Recently i went to a fleemarket and found a bag of D80C51BH chips.
The price was about 1$ for 35 chips, witch makes it crime not to buy them.
So i did..

Now i have spent hours and hours on google to find a datasheet but
with no luck.

Do anyone of u have it around somewhere?

Tjaba,

It sounds like an ordinary ROM version of the 80C51.
I think Intel used the D prefix for their ceramic packages.

Hi!

So piouts and all are the same to?
What about instructions?
Does all 8051 uCs have the same instruction set?

I´ve never worked with 8051 processors before. (just PIC, Atmega)

Welcome to the wonderful world of the 8051! :wink:

If it has 40 pins the pinout will be "standard".
All 8051 derivatives have exactly the same instruction set.

Types that have added features, e.g. an extra timer or a built-in ADC have
additional special function registers (SFR), but your chip is the original one.

Hi,

Get ready to get some good NVSRAMs or EPROM for the program memory of the 8051 you have, it uses externel program memory and can give you a direct maximum I/O of 24 pins using a multiplexed Program Memory Bus.
