Is there anyone have the circuit and the working principle for CDI?

cdi working principle

What is CDI - Capacitive Discharge Ignition?

+cdi +circuit

Yes. It's Capacitive Discharge Ignition.

Try Google, and you will find a lot of schematics.
The principle of operation is based on the discharge of capacitor (C=1-2uF, Uc=300-400V) through primary winding of HV transformer, using thyristor as a switch. Usually spark lenght is small. CDI is used for samll morotbykes or boats wirh engines that not equipped with accumulator (i.e. these that use magneto).
For cars is better to use transistor based idnition. I use such type. It is better than CDI and less complex.
