It would help if you told us what your mathematical and physical background was (1st- or 2nd-year undergraduate; 3rd- or 4th-year undergraduate; postgraduate, etc.) and what level of understanding of quantum mechanics you hope to achieve.

In the absence of that information, the book I would recommend is QED: The Strange Theory of Light and Matter by Richard Feynman. It is an extremely insightful exposition of quantum theory intended for a general audience. It's widely available and quite cheap (~$15).

If your major is physics, I suggest you to read some famous QM textbooks thoroughly, for example, Quantum Mechanics written by C Cohen-Tannoudji etc, Quantum Mechanics written by Landau etc, Quantum Mechanics written by Greiner... you know, foundation is important for physics student.

Modern Quantum Mechanics by J.J. Sakurai is a very good book.

at first stage you should learn linear algebra and you should have good skills in some concept e.g. tensor product , vector analysis and so on.
