hello frnds,

I lost some data from my PC as the hard disk is damaged. I am doing a project on I2C. can anybody post me da architecture specification and documentation

hi echo,
i refered to your doc. i am having a doubt in that.

1) first it was mentioned that the data on the SDA line cant be changed when SCL is high .

2)But later, is is given as the start and stop conditions are transitions of SDA from H-L and L-H respectively when SCL is high.

how could be this possible with reference to the first statement

You are probably looking at paragraphs 6.1 and 6.2. I agree that 6.1 isn't worded very well. I'm no I2C expert, but the seeming contradiction disappears if you focus on the word "data" in 6.1. Data bits must be stable during SCL high. The START and STOP conditions described in 6.2 are not data bits.

sda cannot be changed when scl is high, except for you want give out a start, stop or rep-start condition.
