Dear all,

Hi. I need to set up an experiment to test/build a Rx antenna I simulated, but I am not sure what I should use for the generating source?

My antenna should focus around 2GHz, but we would also like to test it's performance up to 5GHz. So I am trying to look for a Tx antenna that could deliver flat signal throughout the GHz range. (given proper SG, of course)
But I have no idea which company's antenna should I survey? Or is it any antenna that I can find will do?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Thanx, vfone.

My advisor suggested a wideband antenna, and we need it in more compact size. (tens of mm)
I think I can go with a patch UWB antenna. Could anyone suggest me where and how to find one that suits my need?

Thanks in advance!

This can get quite involved but I would suggest you start with a set of horns for the bands of interest.

MI Technologies is one place to get a feeling for what one finds on an antenna range.
