On what platform you wanna program the mouse interface? Win is totaly different from Posix.
 

program code for micro mouse in c

Hi Anno,
I am writing a code for microcontroller...in C
for embedded application..

and not using any OS...

basically i do not have much idea about sw...

i guess code will be independent then any OS...

goto michrochip website and search the app notes archive. you will find something concerning the mouse.

So the mouse will be connected to a micro...mmm
well, I would say you lookup the specs on of hte mouse on the net. more specifically the cable wiring.
As I understand it...mouse will have power, buttons and directions. then implement the wiring directly or indirectly (if power output is to great) to the micro.
So your C code will look or poll for signals on the micro's pins.

Pc bible is very helful for this purpose there are some progams in c ,pascal,and asm u can use any of them in your application
