Looking for a low power microcontroller

Hi, I need an advice.
I m in a project that needs a microcontroller. One of the requirement is tha the systems must work without interruption for 5 years batery powered.
I wander if you know some uC that has a low current needs in power down mode.

Do you have any extra advice for me.

Texas Instruments claims, that the MSP430 series it the best for this purpose.

I 've looked for uC and I found these that may be works for my low powr application. Of Course the MSP is in my list. But i wonder if you have experience with this uC.

ST7 family from ST
PIC nanoTechnology Family.
