Hello all ..
I have a home LAN with 7 of my neghabours.. we connect to the internet through a network switch that connects us to a sppd touch Alcatel router ..

the problem now is my neghabours computers contains bad things that i wanna my PC to be isolated from their PCs ..

Can anyone help me and tell me how to prevent their PCs from being accessible from my PC .. ??

Notice that we don't use any type of servers .. i.e. no one has control or ability to delet or hide other people PCs ..

I hope i could explain my problem clearly ..

Thank you very much ..

The easiest way is to buy another thirty dollar NAT router and put it between your pc and the rest of the LAN.

Alternativly you could install some good personal firewall (by good I mean just about anything except zonealarm) and block traffic from all MAC addresses except the alcatel router.
