Pls I need a circuit that works like the battery level indicator but this time I want to use it to know the level of load connected to my inverter
Thanks

You wish to measure AC current.

Insert a low ohm resistor in the path. Read AC voltage across it. Current is calculated as V/R.

The resistor should be sufficiently high that you can just get a sensible reading on it, but not so high that it heats up dangerously.

That's the principle for quick temporary measurements. With some work you can duplicate the meter innards, and amplify the AC signal to create a DC reading.

in other words what you mean is I should connect the battery voltage level indicator across a low level resistor and that will do the magic.
Thanks for your quick response

But battery voltage is around 12V DC.
To measure current through a low-ohm resistor, your meter will give readings below 1/10 V DC. A typical multimeter can do this. Not sure about a battery monitor.

And if you want to measure AC, it will require some more components.
