Hi,
I am working with LMR14203 switch ( for converting 24V to 5V)
This is the link for the data sheet of LMR14203 switch
https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lmr14203.pdf
In page number 8 layout considerations of the switch is given
It is given that inductor L1 should be placed close to the SW pin to reduce EMI and capacitive
coupling
The feedback network, resistors R1 and R2, should be kept
close to the FB pin, and away from the inductor to minimize coupling noise into the feedback pin.
But unfortunately I did not follow the instructions while designing my pcb.
I placed L1 away from the SW pin and R1 resistor away from FB pin and near to inductor.
The problem is the IC is heating up when I am giveing 24V to the switch and burning away
Can anyone suggest me how can I solve this problem
