Hello,

I wish to do a single output *flyback* converter comprising two interleaved input stages (i.e. 2 transformers)

...Do you think that the LM5032 PWM IC is ok for this purpose...?

So, I wish to use LM5032 , but the top left of page 10 of the datasheet says that it can only be used for single output interleaved *forward* converters.

LM5032 datasheet:-

However , near the bottom of this article it states its ok to use LM5032 in *flyback*...

So i am wondering if i really can do a single output , interleaved flyback with
LM5032?

Yes, you can indeed use this part for a dual flyback, no slope comp needed if you are fully discontinuous on the flybacks, current sense could be via CT on the drain of each mosfet or via resistors in the source for low powers.
I suspect the data sheet mentions forward converter as you can generally get more power more easily thru a forward topology.
