Hi,
We are doing a LED flash lamp 400W ON for 4 seconds, then 400W OFF, for 4 seconds..ON to OFF is very sudden, within 1us.......repeat ad infinitum.
Vin = 100-265VAC. LED string voltage is 37V.
We want to do CCM PFC with SiC followed by Synchronous LLC.
But our boss tells us we cannot possibly use LLC because of the overvoltage stress to the resonant capacitor during the no-load-to-full-load transients.
Please assure that this is no problem for an LLC, we have done similar before.
ICE2 LLC controllers have overcurrent protection to stop any transient overvoltages.
