Linux software simulator for Windows

Software Simulator Linux

i am learning .
i using VMware to install linux. but my RAM too small so it work very low.

Do you know any program simulator Linux in window as Cywin (www.cygwin.com )
Cygwin not support some command , so i want find other soft better cywin.

Maybe you should install a complete installation of cygwin. Notice that cygwin isn't a complete linux with kernel, etc. (unlike vmware which can be considered a complete installation). You can download a rather complete version of cygwin from: **broken link removed** and then do a full installation - you want the 1.4 GB one if you want a lot of packages, etc.

Alternatively, you might want to have a look at colinux (www.colinux.org/)

If you use any sf simulator, you'd better add a bigger memory.

VMWARE takes all your RAM memory, why you don't try using wine? there is a lot of information online about how to install some windows programs with it.

VMware is good. If your RAM is low, just select the minimal installation and do not run X window.
