Re: Lectures on Matrices

Most textbooks on Engineering Mathematics should cover this in one or more chapters.

Kreyzig's book - Popularly used worldwide.
K.A. Stroud's book - Popularly used in the UK.
Glyn James's book - Popularly used in the UK.

Stroud's book is perhaps the best book on Applied Mathematics in the area of matrices, linear algebra, state-space, control and system engineering.

I personally like Stroud's book because the coverage and material depth is as deep as Kreyzig's book but perhaps Stroud is a British, his English is pretty much straightforward and he doesn't beat around the bush. He takes his explanation upfront and he gives very good analysis and picture of the principle, concept and problem.
