I would like to connect a devise that generate sine waves into the Line in sound card in order to save and to hear the sine wave, is it possible and how
thanks

I think it is possible.
but you should attention two point:
1- the power (current) of input must be limited (for example with an AGC).
2- the frequency sampling of sound card is limit (it cover the hear band under 20 kHz).

Yes, it works fine. Try about one volt peak-to-peak.

This is a software discussion forum.
