I'm facing a license problem on one of our client machines and I'm not sure how to begin debugging it. We have licenses for Cadence and Synopsys tools. If I run virtuoso, I get the following error:
However, my environment variable LM_LICENSE_FILE points to the license server correctly. Additionally, virtuoso works fine on other clients. I also checked if all licenses have been used up and this is not the case. If I try using hspice, I see the following message:
In the output above, 10.107.90.17/16/14 are the servers which have the Cadence and Synopsys license servers running. I've tried restarting the license daemons but that didn't make a difference either. We're using CentOS 6.8 64 bit as our OS. What am I missing in our set up?
