level shifter circuit

Hi PPl !!

I am looking for a CMOS circuit which will convert CMOS 3.3 V supply logic

to CMOS 1.2 V supply logic. Can anybody help me out in this regard.

You are not very clear of what you need but you could try the Texas Instruments AVC bus transceivers family.

But let me rephrase myself, I am looking for a trasistor level circuit which would act as an interface between a 3.3 V supply CMOS logic to 1.2 V CMOS logic circuitry.

If the 1.2V transistors can stand a gate-source (and gate-bulk) voltage of 3.3V (resp. -2.1V), you can directly connect the 3.3V logic output to the 1.2V logic input. If not, the easiest solution is a (high-ohmic, depending on bit rate) voltage divider. For higher data rates, a 3.3V nfet (double or triple cascaded) source follower (or npn Darlington emitter follower + diode) would be an acceptable solution.

For the other direction, use the standard level shifter circuit (1.2V inverter controling a 3.3V 4T-FF (similar to a 1bit SRAM cell).

You could just use a buffer made with 3.3V transistors in the 3.3V domain followed by an inverter made with 3.3V transistors in the 1.2V domain followed by an inverter made with 1.2V transistors in the 1.2V domain.
