i want build high quality led lamp for my room
i want use this high cri(90) samsung chips
anyone knows about this chip?
is that led really 90 CRI?(0.05US)

the light of this chip has high quality and good color rendering?

There isn't any mention on this datasheet regarding to its typical application, but considering the large metalic plate beyond the segment body I believe it was designed to work in pulsed applications, therefore I dare to say that perhaps you would find something cheaper.

The LED runs at 150mA at 3.1V but you cannot say whether the CRI value is 90 or no without testing. It looks good and you should get a couple of them to test whether it meets your needs.

when designing a luminaire, there are many factors to consider such as CRI CQS , Lumen/W lumen/$ or $/W, CCT, tolerance , beam pattern, and glare.

regarding CRI, pretty much any LED at 4000-4500 K will guarantee you 85 CRI, outside this you can expect >80 and they spec 90 at 4000'K so it may be slightly better. The datasheet is a liitle vague regarding CRI when they specify 90+\-3 then say on the spectrum curves all are CRI=80 for every CCT curve.

In volume 0.05$ per 0.5W is a typical good price for chips which if designed well into 10W luminaire may be worth $10 at consumer price and less if not so special.

Cree, Samsung and Toshiba have good offerings. Heat quality design is critical but easier on many alum-clad 0.5 w chip array boards due to lower heat flux.
