Hi,
I wanted to design and make an LED Matrix display that countinuosly repeats a message and pattern of lights of my choice as my schools project. I want, however, to be able to programme it with different messages (like "welcome to my school")and patterns in advance(like a little logo of the school that stays in the corner) and these sentence automatically activate at preprogrammed times. Is this possible?

If so my questions are: What equipment do i need? What software do i need(to preprogramme it with times and messages and logos and how do i do it)? and How would i make messages appear at pre-set times? How do i create an inbuilt clock into the display that is very precise? and would it be possible to shuffle between time and message, if so, once again how would i do this?

All help would be great, if there is a genius that can solve all my questions that would be brilliant and i could start work on it in the summer .

Thank you very much.
Bamboozled.

Thank you very much Vicky that was a great help! But i wsa starting to think that, perhaps, if i used an LCD Display my life would be a lot easier! Is this true? Any Suggestions on how to do this?

Thnks again vicky,

Hi,Bamboozled

I have some Led strip information for your reference. The design of yours is so complicated offered by vicky. Here we use controlling system as insynchronization, input from portable disc to display anything you like.
