which heat sink is good for 10w led?
what it's dimensions should be?
is there any other way to avoid heat sink? because, the price of heat sink is more than the LED!!!!!
and how to find c/w?

Hi,

Usually you find the heatsink requirements in the LED datasheet.

Additionally you should find heatsink informations at a heatsink manufacturer.

It depends on somany things, it is impossible to guve a general solution.
* ambient temperature
* max LED chip temperature
* thermal resistance of chip to LED case
* thermal resistance of LED case to heatsink
* thermal resistance of heatsink to air
* air flow

but i am offline buyer. so don't have datasheet or any information about company.

Then you are just guessing about detailed specifications. Everything you make will probably fail soon.
