To Linear Regulator Experts,

Is it fine to attached another LDO after the 1st LDO?
For example, I need 5.5V and 1.8V for my internal circuits and the input voltage is 10V.

1st LDO vin=10V, vout 5.5v
2nd LDO vin=5.5v(from 1st LDO), vout=1.8V
Is this fine?

Should be fine. What currents do you need for each rail ?

This is a standard trick in analog circuits which need very low noise from power supply ripple.

How will I know the required current output? For my case, the output of the Regulators will just be fed to VDD(or V power of my circuits example)

Power Supply Ripple - is this the input of regulators you are talking about?
