LCDs and the dsPIC30F6014 MCU

Hi all!
I want to attach an LCD 4x20 characters to an dsPIC30F6014 but I've got some obstacles ahead.
I read the "dsPICDEM x.x Development Board User's Guide" datasheet and I sow the schematic that Microchip propose.I don't have a PG12232D-L LCD and also the custom driver of the PIC18F242 LCD controller.
If someone known, please tell me how can I attach a standard 4x20 LCD to my dsPIC30F6014.
From where can I get that custom driver of the PIC18F242 LCD controller in the case I will find the PG12232D-L LCD ?

You can try hd44780 based lcds. They can be controlled easily. So you don't need another driver etc.
