LCD in Explorer 8 development board

Hi,
I failed in configuring LCD of Explorer 8 development board, please give simple example code. I set LCD pins as below
RS - PORTA7
EN - PORTA6
D4 - PORTB4
D5 - PORTB5
D6 - PORTB6
D7 - PORTB7

Is that correct pins to initialize LCD
