Last Question for IC5033: Can't start LMGRD server.

lmgrd connection refused

Hey all,

I have one last quick question for IC5033. I have it installed and "working". Only I can't get lmgrd running to get my license working. I run lmgrd -c license.dat (a legit license that expires in 1 year + 1 month) and lmgrd says "connection refused to localhost".

I'm running IC in SUSE. Firstly: The actual message I get when running from "XXXX@linux: lmgrd -c license.dat" is "linux not valid host. /n valid hosts are "localhost". So I "ssh XXXX@localhost" and run it from there. I get a "connection refused". I have all my hosts as default files. Therefore everything is set to "Deny - all EXCEPT local", "Accept - local only", and hosts: "192.168.0.1 localhost".

Am I missing a config to run lmgrd, or is something going wrong? Thanks!

ic5033 license

Your info is not veary cleared. But I guess this is the mis-match of your hostname with that set inside your license file.

lmgrd localhost only

does ic5033 install the same step with ic5.0?

IC 5 doesn't sopport SUSE, only Redhat 7.2
