I want to make a mini laser text projector at home is this possible and if it is possible could you send me a circuit diagram or something i want to do small as possible i doesn't have to be very complex i just want it to project a few letters. I am waiting for your suggestions

I suppose you could do it with spinning mirrors, like in very old TVs (before CRTs), or did you have something else in mind?

First off all thank you for answering. I tought what you said before i ask this but then i got another idea with a mini keyboard (like in old electronic dictionaries) when i pressed the button it shows. I mean is this possible to do something like that like in the laser projection clocks which projects the clok on the ceiling or on the wall

They are simply a bright LED behind a tiny LCD screen with a lens to focus the light passing through.

The principle doesn't lend itself to projecting text because the charaters are restricted to 7-segments or whatever font the clock manufacturer decides. It is possible to project a laser beam to 'draw' text but it's difficult because the image has to be continuously redrawn accurately and faster than persitence of vision. I have seen experiments done with some success using small loudspeakers with most of the cone removed to reduce mass and a small mirror glued to the remaining part to deflect the laser beam. One loudspeaker provided the X deflection and the other the Y deflection. I've often throught it might be possible to do it with standard upright power relays. The kind that have a vertical coil and rocker mechanism on top. If a mirror was attached to the rocker it would make a nice pivoting mirror mount. I've never tried it and it would be horrendous to control but at least it give a head start on the mechancs.

Brian.
