Hi, all

I'm a rookie in Linux.

After installing IC5 under Redhat 8.0 on my notebook, I can run IC5.
But the keyboard is not functional in cadence. Only mouse works fine.
Besides, all the hot-key is not displayed on the menu (for example: fit='f', redraw='f6'; but in my environment, it didn't show the hot-key)

Would you please tell me how to solve the problem? Thanks.

you have to load binkey template. look at the dfii or artist user manual how to include it during startup process.

You can try it:

Set bind key. Add following statement into .cdsinit file at /home/guest directory.
load(prependInstallPath(“samples/local/leBindKeys.il”))
load(prependInstallPath(“samples/local/schBindKeys.il”))

you can edit your .cdsinit file to include the binding key map file
