Using parallel port OCdemon Wiggler to program DSP-56F807

Parallel Port settings: EPP and 378h

Dell PC win XP pro (intel core duo)

running flash_over_jtag.exe in win 95 compatibility mode

throw error: command conveter not connected or disabled

I have a Sony vivo (win XP media edition, Pentium 4, same parallel port settings) that it works fine with and tried mirroring the setting on the Sony to the Dell but still cant get the wiggler (parallel port) to work

I need to set up two Dell PCs to be able to program dsp chips

All Windows after XP protects access to hardware resources.
You probably need to run the Userport program to unlock this port.

I have tried that but will try again is there a certian address that needs to be update using userport.exe?

I don't remember exactly, but you must consider the 3 address used for input, output and control, based on the same LPT port.

yeah im pretty sure i got it right ... 0x378 to 0x37B i add this to userport and updated an started still get

command converter not connected or disabled!
