ITU G.712 G.711 G.714

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between ITU G.712 and G.711, & between ITU G.712 and G.714? If I choose a PCM CODEC which is compliant with ITU G.712, and the opposite end is G.711(or G.714) compliant, will the telephone system still work properly?

They some difference in the look up table for Alam and ulaw,tey are also some other difference in header and framing.

I do not think they work with each other properly,
