It's safe to programming 24CXX (93CX6) with SOIC TEST CLIPS ( 8 PIN ) without to desolder the SMD Eeprom from the board ?

I can do it this with PonyProg without to desolder it from the board, just to put directly the TEST CLIPS , and to rewrite it the Eeprom ?

I need a professional answer for this question.

If anyone can tell me this please do it as quick as he can

thank you very much
