Hi everyone,

I’m facing a problem with our Spartan 12D wave soldering machine, and I’m hoping someone might have some insights or suggestions on how to resolve it.

Here’s the situation:

Background:
We received a new main controller card and wave height motor card. To check the cards, we first changed the main controller card in the machine. After installing the new card, the machine threw an error, so we reverted back to the original main controller card.

Next, we changed the wave height motor card , but after doing this, the machine still wouldn’t run properly. We then put the original motor card back in, but that’s when we started seeing new issues with the LCD display.

Current Issue:
The LCD display is no longer showing the information for Pre Heater 2 and Wave Height 1.
When navigating through the settings, the cursor skips over the parameters for these two items, jumping directly from the parameter before to the one after them.
Additionally, when trying to edit the parameters for Pre Heater 2 and Wave Height 1, the cursor doesn’t stop, making it impossible to adjust these settings.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
Reverted to the original main controller card after the first error.
Reinstalled the original wave height motor card after the machine failed to run with the replacement card.
Checked the cables and connections for any obvious issues.
Tried restarting the machine and performing a reset, but the problem persists.
I’m not sure if this issue is related to a specific hardware fault or perhaps a software glitch in the controller settings. Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any advice on what could be causing this behavior?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
