I would say it really depends on what you want to use it for. That model is fine for simple and low frequency work but useless for high-speed/high-frequency tasks and complex signal analysis.
If it is for hobby use and the price is right I would say 'go for it' but look at something with a faster sampling rate and more analytical functions for more advanced usage.
