I want to use RFMD's RF6100 as an PA, but how to detect its output power?

Maxim has a small device MAX2205/2208 series which can be used for power detect. The PA output signal can go through a 15~20dB directional coupler and then feed into the power detector IC.

but MAX2205/2208 is a peak power detector. is there any RMS power detector? I know ADI have AD8361, but it is very expensive (about $3).
