is there a generic PWM driver?

is there a generic PWM driver in linux? if there is where is it in the kernel? and how can I use it? they are GPIO drivers but I have not see PWM. unless there is patch for it.

thank you yura I seen that driver, but I couldn't figure out the settings on the kernel to activate that
I was thinking it would be in Device Drivers > LED Support >
but is not there
