Hi,
I want to use transfer matrix method for the one-dimensional periodic structure,in a matlab code.
I use this formula:

M=[cos(kz) (i/q)*sin(kz); i*q*sin(kz) cos(kz)]

k=k(z)=(w/c)*sqrt(eps)*sqrt(mu)*sqrt(1-(sin(teta))^2/eps*mu)
q=(sqrt(eps)/sqrt(mu))*sqrt(1-(sin(teta))^2/eps*mu) , (for TE mode)
z=thickness of each layer

to get the electric and magnetic fields at the end of structure,
i have a problem about transmission diagram,im so confused!
is this formula based on MKS,CGS or other special units or not?

tnx.
