Hello,

Is it possible to make Oval drill Patterns in Protel DXP. If yes then how?

Yes you can. There are two ways.

1> Crude/Primitive method ....
Keep adding The required hole sise overlapping each other. It works fine.

2> Create a slot .

Refer to the fig attached. make sure you specify the XY location of slot WRT Origin.

Can you also suggest me where and how can I specify the XY Location of the Drill.
Is it to be done in the Gerber Data?

Just give X & Y location of center of semi circle one of the semicircle. Then specify the length of slot. Reffer to the pic I attached earlier.
