Is it possible to do Ph.D. remotely ?

Hi, I done M.Tech. and want to do Ph. D. in Physics of Semiconductor Devices. I am a working professional and my location is varying as per work requirement.

Then how it is possible to start with it.

Regarding Ph.D.

you have to settle down in a place and go to a nearby school. otherwise, impossible. I'm in the same situation.
