Hai

my IR transmitter works on a chip numbered SC3010 (RC5 transmitter)

The datasheet of this IC says it can transmit 32 system addresses.

Now it transmits a system adress of 00 only for all commands.

I want to change the system address of this transmitter so that it wont conflict with other local remotes.

can by any jumper or any adjustment (Hardware) we can change the system address of this transmition?

thanks

Hi,
Most of IR Remote encoders offer a setting mode for changing address latches.
In case of SC3010 there is a System Mode Selector (SMS) pin which when low enables changing address field. Datasheet contains procedure for changing address but it is difficult to understand and the address field is referred as “System number” in datasheet.
