Why can't we apply the modulation techniques of wireless communication theory to IOs also ?

Any idea ?

what problem can your method solve?

I have read some papers that they used QAM modulation for fast I/O (Chip to Chip) and for 10 Gbit/Sec ...

I think they would be very expensive, power consuming, complex for today and maybe useless.

Plz note that a communication chip like WLAN chipsets consist of several ICs.

BEST!
