I have some trouble about configuration of ports and other things. There are 2 layers, bottom is just ground plane. I couldnt figure out ports configuration especially pi networks pads.

This has multiple aspects, what exactly is your problem or question? We don't know how familiar you are with Momentum simulation, so maybe you can show your present model.

Two details:

1) In ADS 2017 or later, you can set a ground reference layer, so that you don't need to place explicit ground pins manually. See slide below.

2) I would model the SMD pads with one pin for each pad, with feed type direct. That means I would not use the SMD port type in ADS, which models SMD as a 1-port device.

Sure, that's a standard two layer Momentum stackup.

So it's pretty simple: one pin per pad, and set cond2 as explicit Gnd Layer in the Port Editor. That places each port ground at the cond2 plane below. Then wire up the EM look-alike in schematic and everything should work fine.

If you have more specific questions, we can help you if you ask that question and show what you tried.

Thanks for detailed answer,

im not familiar with ads, i read your a few appnotes and watch videos in channel. So, try hard to improve my experience.

the last result is not sense i dont know why.

Ok, you have simulated the 7-port EM Model but there is one step missing: a schematic where you connect the SMD to the ports. Only then, you get S-parameters for the antenna with devices!

There is a "co-simulation" feature in ADS, but can also take the 7-port result into a schematic and connect components there. The result will be a 1-port, all the other ports in the EM data are connected to components.

You might want to download the "ADS Cook Book" from Keysight, there is a co-simulation example at the end of the EM simulation chapter.

I did it, thank you very much. Btw, I set every component pad tml(zero lenght) in the example from the ads cook book.
