Hi! This is Rakesh.

I have searched for this concept internet but I did not get the expected results. So, I am posting the following thread:

Can anybody please tell me what type of technical questions may be expected as an ECE student while facing the interviews. I would like to know about it in detailed manner. I am expecting some example questions along with the answers.

I feel very happy if you also provide the details of sources where I can get more idea about them.

Thanks in Advance.

- Rakesh.

Not sure of what kind of interview you are talking about, but myself as an EE got some help feom the allinterview.com and if you are asking about techincal qts in job interview, you may refer to freshersworld.com...I think that will help you

Rather than expecting that you could expect some answers if you have some Questions. I think that will be good idea.

its your call buddy

Actually I have no idea about what kind of technical questions that we may face in Job interviews. So, I am requesting for some examples of the technical questions along with the answers.

Just go for a google search for "interview questions for electronics and communication engineering"...lots of sites are availaible where you can find the questions that are asked in interviews

Most of them will be in your area of interest and precise conceptual basic questions. They expect answers from the application point of view unlike college level answers.

By freshers, do you mean freshman? 1st year student?
Honestly I do not know if any understanding of circuits is expected yet since 1st year is typically doing the basics, math science etc.
if you are older and in your EE courses I would expect basic theory, and the building blocks within your field of study, also expect you to have good grasp of op amp design and possibly basic digital logic.
When I interviewed college grad for ic jobs i would ask about the various single stage amps. about how to increase gain or bandwidth. about what the effects are of changing the body voltage of a device. and some simple k-maps
i also showed a logic gate i made out of pass fets and had them try to figure it out, off/on of gates should be easily determined by analog designer. and then would see where they were stronger and go more advanced in that direction
what interviewers hate is the regurgitation of memorized information without understanding the meaning. this is easily noticed when you make a small change that makes the statement no longer true, and watch the be unable to step back and relook at problem.
