Hi everyone,

This is my first post here.

I have an interview question which I was wondering if anyone could help me with.

For processing a TCP/IP packet, you need to extract some bytes from the header. The number of bytes to be extracted is given and the starting byte number is known. Data is coming 8 bytes at a time. Draw the state machine for extracting the required bytes and storing them.

This question was asked to a friend of mine and this is all the information I have about the question. Also please let me know if you think the information is incomplete.

Thank you.

Shamanth.
