Hello,

With the use of a spectrum analyser i am getting a power spectral density across the frequencies of concern (gsm channels). For f1 and f2 (2 gsm channels) i know their powers and i am then trying to calculate the power of any possible imps using the formula

IM3_1=2P1+P2-IIP3

IM3_2=2P2+P1-IIP3

where is IIP3 is the third order intercept point. I have also tried to use variations of this formula (e.g proposed by ITU). However, I am definitely getting the wrong results as i am comparing them with the results of a tool. What am i doing wrong? I am working with dBms directly in the formula. Any help? Anyone can give an example how to do this.in
