Is it possible to simulate this in ADS? Can I just modulate DC supply with known interference and see the effect on the RF output. I need to determine the range of bypass cacitor in DC supply.

If you don’t have a noisy/modulated power supply model in your simulator, you can use in your simulation in series with your DC line a transformer and inject an interferer. Using a probe and a Voltage vs Time analysis, measure the level of the interferer on the DC line, and adjust it to find the limits of the bypass capacitor.

Hi boy,

Could you post your simulation here, because I am interested in this problem? Thanks a lot!
