It is possible, but it is difficult from my perspective.
It can be like this
1. There can be a user interface in PC that takes the user input.
2. Commpunication between PC and mobile using IR/bluetooth/usb
3. A program in mobile phone that receives the message from PC and makes a call or SMS
Here the main problem is the platform that u have to use. In PC u have to use windows or linux. It should be supporting bluetooth or IR. The programming langulage should be C/C++/VC++/Java depending on the api support.
In mobile u have to write the program wither in Symbian or in J2ME.
I am also interested in such a project. Please let me know your status.
