hi friends

i have a LCD LM32019T from SHARP
it is 320x240 QVGA lcd

i got its interface on Hantronix web site and also from

**broken link removed**

but it is with SED1335 with 32K SRAM and SED interface in pixel is up to down 8 bits column by column

can i interface such type of LCDs with T6963 or toshiba equivalent controllers which have 8 bits row pixel interface.

interfacing with PIC / AVR / 8051 required with Toshiba LCD controllers?
its datasheet is on
http://sharp-world.com/products/device-china/lineup/data/pdf/datasheet/LM32019T_LC96Y14.pdf

regards

Hi starlet

With the T6963 it's not possible to drive such an LC-Display. There are many reasons:
- data output of the T6963 is 1 bit wide, QVGA LCD's use 4 or 8 Bits.
- The resolution for the T6963 can't be set to 320*240
So it would be a better idea to use another controller like the epson SED1335 which can also be easily interfaced to an 8 bit MCU.

Bye

ok mr_ghz

i got my answer. and now i am working on sed1335, i have already interfaced T6963 LCD but i did not use SED1335 ,
i studied its controller many commands are different from T6963,

has anyone interfacing examples with PIC and 8051 in Assembly (other than Hantronix web site) like EPE Demo for T6963 explains all functionality.
