It is an interface for Yaesu VX-5R radio, so you can easier cleanup the memory banks. Schematic, description and PCB in plug DB25 can be found at: LINK. But as well you can design your own PCB.
Assumptions:
- the device should fit in plug DB25
- use as much through-hole elements as possible
- one-sided PCB
SMD transistors were used in SOT-23 housings. You can program all the settings in program „VX-5 Commander”.
The following pictures show two sides of the PCB before protecting it by a solution of rosin. The side of elements can be a help for you.
