It’s a first project of 22 years old constructor that is in love with electronics.
I built amplifier to work with PC, but of course can work also with another devices. It’s based on Philips TDA1516Q system. I’m not going to describe electrical aspect, as it is typical bridge construction. In this case interesting is main construction. Amplifier can be set at PC cover instead 5 ½’ drive (CD-ROM), can be also use as a free- standing (with using outside power supply).
Few words about construction:
Very simple, most parts, except . most elements, except integrated circuits is from second hand. Radiators from UNITRA WS311D amplifier, signal slot from some UNITRA deck, speakers clip from old micro audio system, fat wires from damaged PC feeder.
Plates at sides allow to screw amplifier to PC casing.
Tom and bottom covers still missing. I would like to make it with laminate so as front and rear.
At front panel are: STBY button, volume potentiometer, control diode. I saw the diode a little bit so it looks like a small crystal, and is lusterless.
